THE CRUNCH

When I’m writing in my journal, sometimes I encounter a special event whereas my pen, as its gliding over the pages and a certain “crunch” is felt and heard. This will happen when my journal is aged, and the papers that are left to write on become crisp. I really enjoy this when it happens. I even think somehow I can “smell” the page. A kind of leafy Autumn, or fall aroma.

This happened to me this morning as I was writing. Anyone else ever have an special personal events in their personal experiences? Anything similar and as ambiguous as this?
