Blind Encounters
This happened Yesterday
I was backing my truck and trailer into the loading dock and what appeared to be a lady walking her dog approached my truck. My windows were down so when I saw her start to turn to the rear of my truck I politely said “ don’t go behind me because I can’t see you”. She gave a command to her dog and she changed direction going around the front of me. As she did she laughed and said “I can’t see you either”. That’s when I noticed her dog was a seeing eye dog.
Side note:
(I did not conceive she was blind because she was so close to my truck. I did not see her service dog and her eyes were bright and wide open)
